I will shortly be doing MM, rod bearings, pan gasket and have 928 GTS baffle. How is this installed (fastner size, etc). Car is 86 ealy

You need to drill five holes into oilpan and make threads into them. Bolts are nothing special M something size, PET and possibly WSM has their size. There are places ready in casting but no holes. Same mounting points were used in early years for screen which is part of the more complex oil pick up.
