Default I need a GTS muffler.

I purchased an X-Pipe from 928's R us and want to replace my RMB with an original rear muffler. Would like to find one in pretty good condition.

Many Thanks!

I have one from my '94 GTS that's in great shape. California car - no winters.

But that sucker weighs a ton - will cost a ton to ship it.

PM me to discuss a price.

Just ordered the X-pipe today. But I've been reading all the x-pipe threads and I get the impression I am going to want the muffler back on there!

Will have a nice RMB available soon though.

Don't sell it too quick. It's fun to put on every now and then when you want to sound like the baddest man in town!

I don't think it's the X that makes it louder, it's the change in cats mostly and what klind of resonators you have. Just change out the resonators to some nice small mufflers and it will quiet her down some without fitting the rear anchor back on the car.

Agreed, its not the X, but the absence of the cats that makes it more vocal. Any suggestions on mufflers to replace the resonators? I'm not aware of anyone that's gone that route before, although I'm sure someone must have.

The GTS have bigger resonators anyways, so you may like it with no cats and rmb. The small resonators only came mid '88 through '91 and then the GTS's came with the suitcase resonators again.

My personal choice are the GT resonators with the RMB. I also have the stock cats and manifolds. Love the sound.
