I am trying to find out what the part number is for the plastic connector that goes into the light. Can someone please help me with this?
Thanks,
James
David - I know you have some VW contacts - do you happen to have any way of finding out the part number for a similar wire pigtail/connector shell for the Euro/ROW Interior Alarm Sensor/Interior Light Combo - same style & overall size as the dome lights -they look like this and have a 6 pin mini connector (2 rows of 3pins)
Down Heinrich down... we've got to figure out how they work first...!
This would be a good candidate for an alarm expansion on your new GTS - but not really very easy on the 'other' car.
David - I have also been unable to find this part in any VW wiring diagrams - I'd also like to know how its configured internally - diagram or wire color would help me a lot. I have some guesses how it works but I only have one unit to experiment on - so I'd like whatever info I can get before I start...
From: Seattle - it's not Hell, but you can see it from here!
