An appropriate typo, I want to cry sometimes when I'm working on my car too.

Clutch removal and replace/adjust (did this several times over a few days just to make sure I got it right )
TB/WP (had to remove the belt to check/replace the tensioner gasket within a week of install
Transmission shift centering spring (!) (That one sucked both times, but a little less the second time) less than 2 years apart
TPS replacement/adjustment (had to remove passenger side intake and re-install within weeks of intake refurb)

and probably some other stuff too. Very frustrating.

My short-list of things to do despite doing them recently:
- Clutch job - did it 2 times already, now by 3'rd one I learned that I'm using the wrong Optimoly (TA instead of HT or vice versa, whatever).
- Taking the tranny out to replace paper gasket and breather at top - used just the silicon make-a-gasket previously - and it's leaking badly.

I love that if you've adjusted the clutch intermediate plate incorrectly, when you find out, there's a bit of disassemble required to re-adjust (or at least it was for me )

Blue clutch hose
Adjusting intermediate plate - it's easy but a pita to do especially when it doesn't hold adjustment
Trying to snake bilstein/eibach through upper control arm without removing

That dreaded blue hose. Every time I look at my nearly new looking engine bay, that tired old hose says "Hey, what about me? I look like crap."
If the deteriorating woven blue cover is an indication of the condition of the rubber, it's ready to go. What the hell was this sheath material, wool?

Currently, the shift coupler is being pretty uncooperative. Gonna have to drill out and/or cut off the old one.

While not as hated, two things come to mind that are unneccessarily annoying:

1. The O2 sensor: why mount a wear item in such a place that the exhaust needs to be dropped to replace it?

2. The turn signal (et al) switch cluster: You'd think, just looking at it, that you could pull the bottom steering cover and swap out the switch, but it's blocked just enough that you have to remove the pod cover, and, there's something else, which, IIRC, was still blocking just enough that you have to remove some of the center console parts.

The undertray doesn't bother me too much, but it would have been very nice if Porsche would have put in some quarter-turn wing nut type captive fasteners to make the thing easier to remove and reinstall. There'd probably be a lot less missing and broken ones then.

Default Fuel Lines

The job wasn't that hard but before changing the fuel hoses my car started easily and ran great. Now it doesn't run! Don't know what I did. Still looking for a broken wire or some other thing I shouldn't have touched.
