From the Auto Motor und Sport magazine of March 1977, the world exclusive on the new 8-cylinder Porsche 928!

Finally got around to doing some scanning. Stand by this location.

I have this magazine in my archive. It's basically a much shortened version of Porject 928. Nothing in the article that isn't in the book. But it's nice to see it in such condensed form!

Just in case you missed this posting from last night. It was the original Auto Motor und Sport article on the release of the 928,--back in March 1977.

Both AMS and Panorama pics show different gear lever arrangement than what production models have. Its not centered sideways like production model and is instead closer to drivers side. Factory probably realised they would have to make two different selector mechanisms to cater for both LHD and RHD markets and instead decided to put it in center.
