Freshly waxed 928!!!!
So I decided to try a different approach to waxing my 928 this time....typically I use Rejex, but its curing time and temperature restrictions are annoying, but it results are great!
So this time I used a multi step process & Trade Secret pure carnuba wax
http://www.topoftheline.com/toltradcarwa.html
I used a porter cable 7424 with lake country CCS pads.
I washed the car and claybar'd it with adams clay bar
Then I polished the whole car with the LC white pad, PC set to 5 and Optimum Polish
It didn't remove quite as much as I wanted it some spots, so I went back with the LC yellow cutting pad, PC set to 6 & Optimum Compound.....this really didn't improve the polishing of the 1st step....so I just only did the front bumper
Next was Optimum Poli-Seal with LC black pads & PC set to 4......
Last step was Trade Secret by hand using the supplied applicator....
It looks good.....but is it significantly better than the Rejex.....maybe I dunno....it does seem slighty more clear than the rejex with less minor hazing I noticed with rejex?
What do you think?

Very nice!
Looks like I need to head over to the Concours section of Rennlist to learn more about the different pads, polishes, and buffers...

Looks great Brian,
Any chance you have some before/after shots to really compare? The car seems to have a lighter appearance almost like Zaino. Maybe it's just getting too reflective.

I like the look of the Rejex better, looks a bit deeper, less hazy appearance with better reflection.

Brian,
I've seen most of those photos previously, and was very impressed. The paint looks like it's still wet!
I'll research the Concours section, paying particular attention to Anthony's posts. When I get ready to proceed, would you mind a PM or two to get your input?

use a slightly "corser" towel for the final buffing with REJEX. I had the hazing and the use of a terry cloth without the super softness like the diaper rags you can buy, will really make it shine!
