Rebuilding 1988 manual transaxle after wasting $2710 at local shop

chilly and spritzing outside here in my FL winter sardine can and I thankfully ventured upon this most entertaining thread. -took a while to slog through with the aid of some paisano and a yuengling but worth every guzzle. Have to hand it to this poor bloke for sticking with it for as long as he did. First thought was "did that mechanic at the outsource shop spray paint a used tranny and slip it in?" I knew a guy who bought a "rebuilt" chevy 350. Nice rattle can job. As far as helicopter paranoia goes I have had a DEA chopper do enduring circles over the local cornfields in search of a "crop" that was never there. -just trying to justify their useless existence.
