I'm such a slacker. Instead of installing the intercooler and 6.5 PSI pulley, I spent the last 2 weeks trying to finish my Norton Commando resto - the carbs are still giving me fits. I got get back on the program. 400+ or bust!

Nice job, Darien!

432 is damm good.....thats a touch over 500 chp....nice! How much boost? It did look like you were getting a tad lean on the your best run..maybe 13/1...which is still okay...but 12 is safer

Thanks ALL!!

I'm currently running approx 10 lbs of boost.

Since my 399 run, I've only added the bigger fuel pump and the Ott X-pipe.

I'm still running rich at lower rpm's, my MPG is very low

I'll be happy if the ST can manage my fuel pressures, then I can get a smoother A/F mixture throughout.

Then wait for the EZF tuning

Nice work Darien!! And all without the benefit of LH/EZK reprogramming!

I thought that at 10 lbs of boost you had to convert to JP-8

They aren't terribly used (12K miles) and they worked fine on my 71 and prior to the 10 year hibernation of the 75 I am dealing with now. One side is rich in the midrange. WOT is fine. Maybe just do needle jets and needles.

Good numbers but why can't dyno operators get the hp/tq curves correct. Hp and torque should always cross at 5252. Hp = tq * RPM/5252. I don't think that invalidates your result but ask your dyno operator why your hp & tq don't cross at 5252.

Jim, I'm not the expert on dyno's. Didn't know about the "5252" RPM, is that across the board for all set-ups?

This was only my 3rd trip ever

May need to ask folks like Tim Muphy, Louie Ott, or Dave Roberts

You are doing quite well...but living around Tony doesn't hurt either!!! :>) Kinda like me living by BillB!!!!

Look at it this way...you've been to the dyno 3 times more than I have!!

Yep. HP = torque * RPM/5252. That's the way you calculate hp. If the dyno chart is properly scaled, hp and torque will always cross at 5252 rpm.

nice run!! well done!!

I've been messing w/the sharktuner on my old gal and it's not a 1 hr job. plan on a couple of days to go through it all. but after 1/2 day I can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel - my idle is perfect/stable now and I've almost got it running smooth as a benzo on pure street gas (a major feat w/11.3:1 compression and crappy 91 octane)...

still gotta wrap the initial LH tuning, then go after the EZK, fine tune the LH and do it all again w/101 octane w/the other maps before I'm done, but it's a pretty cool tool. not sure I'll get a lot more power tuning w/street gas. but driveability/crap fuel manners will be GREATLY improved, and I'm sure tuning AFM to 12.5 and cranking up the timing w/101 octane will squeeze out a chunk more zip for the track or when I'm feeling rich enough to cruise around town w/$120.00 of race fuel in the tank.
