So here I am putting my intake back on (ran some new vacuum lines). I broke one of the hose clamps for the 8 rubber sleeves that hold the spider to the pleunum. In the past I found a zip tie will work just as well.

So zip tie #1......doesn't hold, it's busted

Zip tie #2 is a bit short but holding well. So I grab a pair of my trusty needle nose pliers to tug on it a little..........PULL!!!!!------SNAP!!!! Yea, my face was on the receiving end of that one.

Damn this hurts

A few years ago some friends and I were waterskiiing in wetsuits because it was prettycold out. One friend goes to pull his arm out of the sleeve and he couldn't get the thing off. He's pulling and pulling and when it finally lets go, you got it, he smacked himself in the face so hard he almost knocked himself out. It sounded like one of those kung-fu movies it was so loud. We almost fell overboard laughing.

When stuff like that happens it's time to take a break and grab a beer, maybe sleep on it and come back.
