You can be assured that the water pump is lubed very well now.

That picture just makes the baby Jesus cry.

yes , it looks nicely lubed. but i am worried about any damage.

yes coolant cap was off.
but i don't know how long it was seaping before. when i unbolted the two lines to the oil cooler. the same goop came out as in the expansion tank.

so far, it doesn't sound like anything happened, other that the mixed 'chocolate milk'
i am going to do an oil change today or tomorrow, just to be sure.
any aditives i should use to clean the block with?

ceedee, I think I have an old radiator with the oil cooler. As I recall I think it leaks a little water...needs o rings. You probably want to go with a high end solution at this point, but if you want to go low end, p.m. me and you can have it for the shipping.

thank you so much for the offer. i might thake you on to it.
however, it needs to be a 5 shift rad. as the tranny cooler is on the right side
instead of the left side, where the 5 shift has the oil cooler.
