I see the dilemna. I would deal with the known issue you saw in the TC. It does not sound like a tranny problem, but Steve C should weigh in as I'm not even amateur status when it comes to trannies.

Bill, IIRC it was a cut-down allen key, just long enough to stick out of a 6mm universal socket(1/4" drive) and then two short 1/4" extensions with a 1/4" universal between the extensions. I'm sure that I or someone else took a pic of the special Porsche tool # DA-BB-HOLY****-ITWORKED.

Dave: I don't recall enough room for a universal and extensions, but suffice it to say, you can get a tool up there.
