Rejoice, rejoice... I convinced the wife that this was too good to pass up. She (keeper of the purse strings) was the last sticking point; we're trying to re-do our kitchen in the next 6 months but I'm trying to re-do something else that cooks...

There's no way I can get it for $3k as he has other interested buyers. Hopefully this isn't all for naught. And Whitefox, you will surely get a PM from me once I have my hands on the Momo wheel.

Right now I'm leaning towards selling it whole (headers included) but swapping out what I want. Anyone interested in the Momo seats? If so I'll post a pic; I'd be up for an even swap of decent black S4 leather seats. Otherwise make an offer... the Momos are faded red but the supports are solid; set up for 5 point harnesses, but no harnesses with the car.

That is a similar wheel but the one's I'm getting are not nearly as deep in the rear, nor are the spokes that sharp. I actually very much like the eBay ones; the ones I'm getting are just OK to me. They're a double hatchet bend at the top of each spoke; hopefully that description makes sense. Still not sure what model number they are. I think I have a pic I can post. If I do, I will.

Exactly. With some rubbing compound, rubber mallet, touch up paint, polish, and elbow grease, you'd never know it was hit. Once I'm done wth it anyway.

Buy it. BUT the 340bhp claim is CONCERNING because it is obviously bogus.

340 at the wheels could happen if it has GT cams. Also, if that 340 is uncorrected rwhp, more than likely it would be slightly lower if SAE corrected.

The bottom-line is that it is possible to do 340 rwhp since Louie did 327 SAE corrected at the wheels with his old GT.

Yeah, I am not sure about the 340 hp claim either. Last year there was an S4 on craiglist that claimed the 340 HP? He said he added 20 hp chip, lol.

GT cams cannot give your S4 425 crank horsepower. 340 at the wheels is 425 at the crank.
