Mitsubishi Evo wheel ($90 - ebay), Porsche horn button ($40.00 ebay), momo adaptor - ($60.00). Bit smaller than stock, looks good IMO and resonably good value!

930 / 968 sport steering wheel dimensions
Does anyone know the wheel diameter (mm) and grip diameter?
There is a version of the "930" Wheel made by Porsche for the 928....

Hi Michael,
I don't have one here at the moment, but there are a lot more pics and details for Steering Wheels in this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...l-options.html
As far as grip diameter the 928 Sport wheel is the best, much thicker than the stock one and I haven't met anyone yet that has driven with one that doesn't think it is perfect. Never thought to measure one that way. Also the diameter is close to the stock factory original, maybe just slightly smaller in diameter overall.
Hope that helps,
Dave

Forgot to add, Porsche has recently started offering a few upgrades to the 928 Sport Wheel. They now offer them in Black with Red Stitching and also with "Porsche" embossed in the steering wheel in all black and the black w/red.
Cheers,

Thanks dave, yes I agree the 993/968 sport steering wheel is a great looking option and clearly it has a fatter grip diameter. I'd love to figure out if the diameter is smaller than the stock 360mm.
The PO of my 928 had Momo wheel installed. The design was ugly but I liked both the fatter grip (30mm x 35mm) and the smaller diameter (350mm). So if this club sport wheel has a smaller diameter, that would be great. Hopefully someone on this thread who has one will measure the outside diameter.

I have a 928 Sport wheel I bought from Roger. The outside diameter is 36cm; circumference is ~113cm. Girth is 12cm, although a little thicker above the thumb areas.

Three Wheelin'
Consider these eccentrics.
Work well with the Momo wheels, and give you better visibility of the pod and set the wheel back slightly which gives you a better feel if you are tall and have the seat moved back.

My lovely wife got me this 930 clone steering wheel from Pelican: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...RoC_vIQAvD_BwE
It only comes in black, but it looks great. The horn pad doesn't have a logo, but a hood crest from 356 is just the right size and easy to add.
