928 Steering Wheel Options
Don't much care for my steering wheel, a bit boring!
Would like to update with a nicer looking wheel. Possibly something with the porsche emblem in color, or at least stamped on the wheel.
I will keep the original steering wheel but would like something different... What do I need to know... what other model porsches will the steering wheels fit from onto my car??
TIA

All you need to know is Paul Champagne... He can make your stock wheel look AWESOME! Then you keep the real deal but with some flair! Just go to his web site...

Just a personal opinion, but I think the 928 Sport wheel looks the best, also called the 930 wheel.

There was another option...it was referred to as the 930s wheel. I picked up one years ago for my 951...I love that wheel! I found a pic.
Thought I would add another which I think fits the 928 perfectly IMHO...I tried to find one of these for the better part of a year with no luck...at least not at a reasonable cost. Personally, I decided to remain true to the Porsche Gods and had my wheel recovered by Rob Budd. If you're not into Gray/Green, you're nowhere

I purchased mine from AJUSA, about 5 years ago, but they don't seem to stock it now (as I checked). The wheel was/is very popular with a number of Porsche models...I would think it is still available.

Roger can get you the proper wheel. The 928 sport wheel comes with the extended adapter that is needed.

Stock wheel
I think the stock wheel looks nice on an original car... But mine will not be...
My car is a resto-fication (restoration/modification)... so in other words... I want it to be my style and yet still look and feel like a porsche!
What's the spline size on an early car?

The wheel is original, but new, which has it's own appeal. I wanted, was lusting after, another wheel. The recovered original wheel has its own character...I like it.

I've got one of Pauls recovered 4 spokes and I love it. It's softer and seems to have more 'sponge' to it for gripping. Lemme see if I can get a pic uploaded.
