Default Plenum Emblem

Since I'm repairing the head gasket I figured I would have my friend who owns a powder coating business paint the plenum and spider. My plenum crest is almost paintless. Does anyone sell these for the plenum or do you have to sit down with a brush and DIY?

Use a hood badge. Just break off the pins and "glue" it on like the original

That's a beautiful engine bay.

I have painted my emblem black and then lightly sanded the high points. I like the idea of the full colour option but will need to get the old one off beforehand.

Does anyone know what was used to 'glue' the original on? Mine looks like it was welded in place.

Cheers,

Terry

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Terry,

They seemed to have used some sort of epoxy, you should be able to use something sharp and get up under it and pop it off. I used Black RTV Sealant on mine and it is still there after 6-7 years.
