Hey, that was alll during my pre-midlife crisis. Had i found motorsports back then, it all never would have happened! However, it was a pretty good way to spend a month of vacation time when things were good!

Wow an American Gladiator in our midst.
OT:
Its funny watching those clips, it reminds me of the movie Running Man. The guys, "Turbo",. "Juicer", "Nitro" have those crazy acting abilities of the guys from Running man, the flamthrower/jetpack guy, the motorcycle/chainsaw guy, of course jesse the body ventura was like captian america, and then there was also the guy who had the freaky dunebuggy and the silver christmas tree outfit. (What was his special ability?)
I guess American Gladiators was as close to the running man as we will ever get. Or is it, with overcrowded prisons, lets just take these guys to an island with camera's and have freakish ex body builders , NFLers and jose canseco chasing them with rocket launchers and flamethrowers and lets put it on NBC. Sounds like a great TV show and a way to get rid of the prison population. There have to be thousands of deathrow inmates whos appeals have all run dry that we could cast as "contestants" right?
