Do I think I could buy it...fix a couple issues & bring it up to my standards....drive it a little bit and sell it for a small profit....yes....

BUT....I know if I buy it I wouldn't want to sell it!!!!!!!!!!

Brian, they will split us into two even sized groups on track day. The less the merrier for me. If I have to take the 944 the less people I have to stay out of the way of, the better. I've been working on the S4 hoping I could take that but it ain't looking too good. I ordered up some parts from 928intl. yesterday so we'll see how it goes.

Charley
Take the GTS......its a 5 speed.....so you could almost just leave it in 3rd the whole time.....with just a touch of 4th on the straight!

Charley is correct Brian... we'll make both intermediate groups the same size. Right now that's 19 cars each. The good news is that even if I get a rush this week, it is still a maximum of 25 cars in each group. You will find that you will have plenty of space on the track if you aren't too aggressive. Just follow the black S2K, he'll definitely be looking for space .

By Brian: Take the GTS......
Not a chance Brian. I never take my girlfriend to a poker game or my GTS to the track. I leave them home on their pedestals where they belong.

Charley
I used to think that way about mine...but for an 88 S4 with 94K miles....even in the condition mine is......I might as well drive it and enjoy it.....one day I'll have a true concours queen GTS or GT that will only go to shows.....

I already have the June PCA autocross at Altamont on my schedule too.....I might join NASA and do a couple of their events.....sure its hard on sharky....but its just SO much fun!

Thanks Brian. Note to last minute signups... you will have to use PayPal (your account or a credit card) to register. There is just no way to get me a check by tomorrow, and I'd really prefer not to have to handle too much cash at the track. Thanks. Hope there are a couple more. You guys now outnumber the S2000s, Bimmers, Corvettes, Ferraris, Veyrons
