Have a new problem - sometimes after driving, when I turn off the car the parking lights come on by themselves. This happens during the day, when the lights haven't been used. I'll restart the car, turn headlights on and off a few times, and the problem stops. I did a search, and could find nothing on this issue. Any thoughts? Don't want to end up with a dead battery....thanks

Sounds like (a real guess here) maybe headlight relay going bad. Second guess would be light switch.

If they're coming on on just one side or the other, it may be because the turn signal stalk is up or down. It's a european parking side marker thing.
