Absolutely correct. If the center caps are in the photo, they are part of the description of the goods and they were sold with the wheels. It you don't mean that, the seller has to say so.

how on earth can ANYONE on here say that based on the information given you wouldn't expect centercaps? Thats just rediculous! Maybe there is info that we don't have, but based on what we were told, the centers should have been sent. As far as the buyer asking about them, i think Porsche wheels are the only one that have this issue. Ive NEVER bought wheels without center caps, HOW STUPID! You want to run around and buy a sperate auction for the centers? COME ON!
Lets be a little adult here.
No, of course you don't get the car. Car is not part of wheels, center cap is. Lug nots not part of the wheel, but valve stem is.
SELLER is responsible to disclose this, and if this was ebay, Money would be refunded by paypal WITHOUT a DOUBT!

Now as far as this situation, i don't know the exact story either way. But if in fact this was an incredible deal, send the guy a couple more bucks for the caps!
Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered!
if the deal was awesome, you got what you got... pony up for the caps. I understand the other side, i sell things rediculously low to be done with it, to NOT have to deal with anything after the sell. It kinda appears that way, drop the issue and hook the man up with a couple bux and get your caps.

Wrong;

As stated above, the car is in the photo, so are the lug nuts, how about the snow on the ground... they obviously are not included. The picture cannot be considered a substitute for a description, unless specifically stated. Do you get the house that the car is photographed in front of?
No mention of caps were made, or implied. If they were stated and NOT shipped, then I see fault. There is an 'assumed' inclusion on her part.
Who among this pissy thread finds this a trivial matter? I would have gladly sent a set until all this B.S.

If a legitimate business was selling those wheels and posted a picture of the wheels with the center caps, the caps would be assumed to be included. If they are not included, there would be disclaimer language clearly presented. Something like - "Center Caps Not Included", or "Center caps available at additional charge."

We have had similar problem with our web site even when we post the particulars about what is included.

I vote that soccergk be banished to the abyss on this forum. I have bought many sets of wheels MANY. Centercaps were always delete except once when I ponied up for them. If she files a paypal dispute with an upstanding Member like Scott Mohr she should be ashamed of herself and has no clue what she is doing as an inexperienced buyer. I'll buy her a set of caps. Everyone has offered to give her a set, but she would rather run Scott through the mud on " principle". Kevin

You think you do someone a favor by selling a rare item stupidly cheap it bites you in the ***. Leave to humanity to be less humane.
I look forward to the Paypal dispute, with the evidence I have it's a slam dunk. If Heather can show any correspondence that says the word center caps were included, I'll over night her a set off my GTS tomorrow.
Until then...
BETTER YET... If Heather makes a donation of $25 to the humane society (with proof) or pays for a two year Rennlist membership, I'll send her a set to stop her incesant whining.

Why would they be? If i can ask, do you have a link of the FS thread? Somehow i highly doubt it will say "FS: 19xx 928" If it did, I would say yes, the car should be included, better yet "FS: 19xx 928 with environment" then i would expect the snow to be thrown in.

Likely it said something like "FS: 19xx 928 winter wheels" I would expect the wheels and centercaps to be included if a picture of the wheels WITH the centercaps in place unless otherwise noted. Valve stems are a moot point. Moot due to cost and availablity. Centercaps are neither cheap nor readily available.

For what its worth the majority of the ebay auctions selling without centercaps have the caps removed or say "do not come with centercaps"

Also, regardless of the price, EVEN IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU SOLD THEM FOR LESS THAN YOU SHOULD OF, you should give the person buying what you have for sale. Not saying after the fact, "well..."
