Get this, i may even buy my first set of new tires since 2001!
Hoosiers, Laguna SCCA finale, Oct, 2007!

were the Toyos shaved right down to the wear bars (or very close to)?

the last hooseirs i ran were the heat cycled to death S03s that i thought were good at Road America. when i finally ran a track i knew with them, they were 2 seconds off. I never ran a set of used hoosiers again. If a new hoosier is better, it would be interesting to see if i can pick up a second or so at laguna.
Ive got some pretty new toyos. i wonder if the speed world challenge guys get a better compound than the public. eitherway, my times havent changed much with old or relatively new RA1s. this is consistant with whatthe CMC challenge guys say, as they run these to the cords!
