Default Doublenutz

There used to be a guy here with the username Doublenutz, whatever happened to him? I think he was a Marine, perhaps retired, as his avatars always had some Drill Instructor yelling at Privates and such. Anyway he's been gone over a year now. I used to love reading his posts, he was quite the character with a great sense of humor.

Do a search. He got into a pissing match with the mods over a comment made by a sponsor. The rhetoric got so far out of hand that the sponsor pulled their support of Rennlist. Even then he didn't stop. I suppose he was very offended about what was said. It is truly a shame. I too enjoyed his posts. His name is Pat Edwards and he had a website but it is no longer working.

Pat Edwards had a winerot or reddish 928 that had great custom body work done to it - namley something I have always wanted to do, which was to remove the black beading from the bumpers, and make it all work together like today's cars. It cleans up the lines like you wouldn't imagine.

Pat and his wife (or actually mainly his wife) put on an awesome 928 event at Mt. Hood two years ago. We had great fun there with him, and he's sooo different in real life from how he appeared in some of his last posts. At the time of the event he owned a linen metallic 89 S4 with burgundy interior.
