Try the Declaration of 928 Independance.

"We hold these Porsches to be self-evident, that all P cars are created equal, that they are endowed from Zuffenhausen with certain unalienable engineering, that among these are speed, handling, safety and the pursuit of a streetable race car. "
All Porsches are "created" equal, however the 928 had the best engineering and design. It was more hand built than any from today, and had a soul that lives on. Amen.

I am completely biased...

I see. So even though their words say "all men were created equal" ....... they really meant that the Queen was no higher than others? News to me

And it reads:

The key is that all men are "created" equal.

Not that they "are" equal.

I disagree.

No man is above the law, and no man is below the law. This is what equal is talking about. It's not an issue of somone is *better* or *worse*, about somebody's intrinsic abilities. It's about laws and personal rights. Seems like were are getting them confused.

It should be noted that our country still does not fulfill this lofty goal.

I especially like our right to pursue happiness... Whatever that happnens to be at the moment.

We are all created equal, I guess. Nine months or so later, we discover what an unequal world we are born into. Many struggle through the nine months, many don't survive it, and nobody survives forever. I don't know anyone who can say there were opportunities that they wish they had (or hadn't) taken advantage of. Too late smart, too soon old. Educate your kids, for the benefit of all.

Well, you have the concept right, however at the time, there was a King of England, not a queen. But the motivation of the colonists' was that there be no royalty in the US, thus, the 'all men equal'. This is reinforced by the next section: "Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed". Note that 'Men' is capitalized, just like the word King. If you'll peruse down a bit in the document you'll see the list of transgressions that the colonists' held against the king. And, unfortunately, this basic idea does seem to be news to any number of us 'colonials'.

What matters is the enjoyment, 'just driving a 928'

This AM, I was entering a big intersection at 50 or so, just when two SUV's crashed in the middle and one came spinning in front of me, . Reflexes got a quick response, and I got through the mess. TY 928!

COP asked me what I saw! All I could say was 'Daylight!'..and my car got me there.

This is One Fine automobile!!

I'm just an observer here, but I must agree with Docmirror. Google: "Gangs of America" for some insight into this issue.

and with Dr. Bob about the ignore button; what a joy of a tool it is.
