Hi Travis,

I've made a couple of these rear audio units. This was how I housed the rear amps, and an Apline 12" Type R sub. The black unit was made for a car with black interior. My unit is matching blue carpet.

The whole assy is 6" higher then the rear hatch floor, so it is not a "drop in to spare" soulution.

Cheers,
Michael

There is a lot of nice set-ups here on the rennlist.

Cheers,

watercooler is all professional and shi.... I'm bringin' ghetto. Want a back massage? Hop on in. At least my box matches the seats, if that's any consolation.

At first I thought the matching box would look somewhat cool, and go with the car. The more I look at it the more that big box looks horrible sitting in a 928. I gotta figure something else out that flows with the car.

Don't be so hard on yourself, Outlier! That looks pretty tight, and I know it gets the job done! Better than my setup, anyway:

Cool.

But if you're "Boomin" STAY THE HELL out of my neighborhood. We've got more than enough boom cars.

And, by the way, get your hearing checked - unlike wine, it doesn't get better with age.

On the other end of the spectrum, I am putting in an 8" powered tube by Bazooka, about $150, and 2 mintues to remove if I want. My "stealth" install will involve putting it in a small duffle bag, so its easy to move around, but doesn't slide.

I went a completly different direction; 10" sub, although I could fit a 12" in the space but thought 10 woud be more than enough. I also wanted to maintain the original floor heigth.

Still in the process of doing a fiberglass mold for the back to hold the 15 and amps. Waiting for the spring paint.

15" 3000W visonik DVC sub for the lows and 6.5 premiers plus satelites in the front and rear. Another pair of 6.5's to go in the rear deck soon. One amp for the front, one rear and 1800w for the sub. 5 farad cap in with optima battery below speaker.

Up front is a 7" touch screen DVD w/ XM unit below. Ash tray hides I-pod hook up.

Back will look more polished when finished. Just a functional dry test for now. Hits very hard. One 15 pushes more air than 3x 10's.

.
Can you get more pictures of your door panel with the speaker grills. It looks cool from what I can tell. Maybe something I would like to try on my car. Can you give more details??
