Yeah, I think if you drive around the block a few times like that, you should be fine.

I asked a guy (now a Land Rover tech) but was a Porsche tech for over 20 years how they "settled" the suspension. He said they would get a couple of the big guys to sit on the front end for a while. I guess they didn't have the tool.

My experience has been driving about 100 miles to get every mm. Got three alignments last year screwing around with ride height.

But I do remember one of the Australian guys in this board saying that loosening the front sway bar would drop the suspension quickly.

Drive it off the top of a parking building or out of an airplane. It should settle in there real fast and permanent.

While I am hijacking this thread,
Remembering the Blues brothers movie where the ***** drove off the unfinished bridge, they left a 15' hole in the ground. The truth is for the movie they dropped the car from a crane, or was it a helicopter?

Hmmm... Best use of a Pinto station wagon in a feature film. Good for an Oscar if they had the category.

Well, I drove a bit more tonight, and tomorrow on the way to the alignment I'll take the bumpy back roads. That should do it.

Can't wait to hear what my car sounds like without a whiny alternator!

Cool, but that's not a wagon.

Nightmare is being stuck at the toll booth with a Pinto in front and an Audi 100 behind you in line.
