For a powder coating project:

32 valve intake manifold, several profiles.

cam belt covers, all three.

water bridge on a 32 valve engine.

I know the list is rich with this stuff.......help me out guys. Also, see the new vendor post stuck up top......some slick powder coating services......

I had my cam belt covers powder coated gloss black last year. I did 2 of them, the third one was made of black plastic, so I left it. MY '85 though.

Here's some stuff I just had powder coated. The color was the result of flipping through the cataloques of several paint suppliers, many hundreds of samples. I had an idea for a sliver based color in my mind, my painter had an odd part that was from a customer that had what I envisioned but we were never able to duplicate that one. Oddly enough that part was brought in because the customer didn't like the color and had it redone. These pictures don't really show what this color looks like, the painter said it looked alive as he sprayed it. It seems to be different in various lighting but I find it very pleasing.

That's my favorite finish, followed by black in the same texture.

The lower belt cover is plastic (on my 87 anyway) I left mine black. I figured any paint I put on would peel and crack away in no time. So I left it alone.

This is the best I got...black chrome is almost impossible to take a picture of for some reason.

Geez. You guys have some nice looking parts. I wish some of my now tan intake and cam cover paint would flake off.
