Andrew:

I don't recall that you were messing with things. What are you up to?

Watch those injector clips! They can pop off when you aren't looking.

Where'd that oil in the valley come from?

RE, the 996 wheels for sale.

I had a set of what I thought and were told were 996 wheels for sale that turned out to be 993 wheels.

There was and is some slight damage to the inside of one of the rear wheels, that frankly I thought nothing about.

I mentioned this to Hacker and sent him some Macro pics of the bad spots, his tech guy said NO WAY.

I do not want any one to think that I was trying to pull a fast one on Hacker or any one else for that matter.

Erik, I am sorry I got your hopes up and wasted your time.

I feel bad that I did not state this in my first post, but like I said, it is on the inside and I would have no concerns to run them on the street.

That is about all I can say about this, other than the wheels are for sale,(now reduced to less than what I paid for them $750.00) they are used and there is some damage to one of the rear wheels on the inside and it will not pass tech.

Where can I send them to have them redone?

Look at my post count - waste my time? That's funny

Like I told Greg - I would have no problem using these as street wheels, but I was planning on putting the 10" wheels on the front of my track car with racing tires and a lot of negative camber.

I guess I'm trying to go too cheap with this car - I need to bite the bullet and order some race wheels.
