I have the same problem with my Toronto. I think its about $200 to fix and rather typical for this model...

My baby got a new timing belt, and new coolant hoses (preventive) - the latter still have to be installed. Next will be some brake work, new fuel lines, and the airbag fix (warning light came on a few days ago, and display brings up warning message after major bumps).

Got a triple receptical to mount on the passenger parcel tray. Should be pretty discreet when I'm done. Finally, I'll get to charge my phone, run my ipod and my laptop all at once.
The built in power switch is a nice feature.

RMB from 928 Int'l. Complete carnuba waxed and leather interior conditioned. Gretel and Sally are all snugged in their garage.

Rain forecasted tonight and tomorrow all day so they'll both have to wait for a sunny day so we can go for a nice cruise.

Diapers -- to find out what might be leaking! Cheaper than a lift, at the moment!

A 3-stall heated garage. Hopefully this means I'll be ready for DE's right away in spring.

Even though I just replaced all the bulbs on my original tach, I got the 86 a tach with a mileage computer, in L/100KM, no less.

I only replaced the [P], and [D] bulbs, this time.

Carrera III wheels (Slow mail one by one from LA), Another battery maintainer (sharing one between two sharks doesn't work)

With the next emissions test booked for 19 Feb (earliest I could get) I am pondering actually starting the long planned engine pull then refresh/rebuild in the next few days. Of course if I do this come Jan 3rd people will fall over themselves to a) employ me, b) need me to go race their yacht for days at a time, c) fix other peoples 928s.

Happy Christmas.

Extrude-honed Euro intake, ported heads and motorsports intercooled induction and performance clutch....then I woke up.

Got her a roof though...taking up space in a family members garage for the rest of the winter.
