Default Who wants to be a Socal Rejex dealer?

I emailed Rejex to find out who the SoCal dealer is for them, and they sent me the phone number of the distributer in Stockton, CA (I think) who I called this morning.

There is NO DEALER for Rejex in SoCal right now. I talked to Mark at 928Intl and he could be persuaded to make a one time purchase, but didn't want to carry it as a product. To be a dealer seems like all they require is that you buy a case of 12 at a time, so if somebody wanted to act as a "point" person maybe some kind of group buys could be arranged ahead of one of the larger local meetings?

Rejex also has a electrical contact corrosion product, but I don't know much about it. Apparently its also popular on the metal parts of boats.

If someone is interested in being the Rejex person (trust me, I would NOT be good at it) give me a PM and I can pass on the details they gave me, plus I will want to get at least one or two bottles of the 16 oz car protecting stuff.

Rejex is a coating that is shiney and forms some kind of barrier so stuff doesn't stick. Popular on planes and boats, some people on rennlist use it and have convinced me to try it instead of a wax. Search on 'rejex' and a few threads will turn up here.

As indicated, X-Autoproducts is an official reseller of Rejex, as well as a Rennlist Sponsor.

They provide a discount to paid Rennlist Members - that's how I buy mine.

My only concern with the Rejex is that they want you to keep it away from stuff for 12 hours to let it cure, and I am not sure if that means parking in the garage is ok, or a car cover or what.

X Autoproducts didn't show up on my searchs, so didn't know about them. A local source would still be very nice, plus it looks like a good product worthy of some promotion. I plan to work on a couple of the detail shops to see if I can talk one of them into it.

Why wouldn't you just order from a Rennlist sponsor who will ship it for free

I didn't see any like that, X Auto from there web page offers forum members the 12 oz size for $10 which is their regular price, but a good one, and I think it was $4 shipping. 16 oz was $16.95 but I didn't follow along to what the shipping or tax might be.

So far I am supporting some list sponsors quite well. In general I give them my first click, check what they offer first, but I buy whatever I decide works best and from whom I choose.

*** I am absolutely sure the first time I clicked that link a few messages above it was just what I stated, but now it says 16 oz $16.95 and free shipping, which is great and the best way to go for most people.

Rejex needs to stay below 84°F and away from moisture for the first 12 hours after applying. Basically, that means indoors, no car cover.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if normal garage was "clean" enough, not that my garage is like a barn, but at night dust settles out of the air, even if its just a little dust.

Anybody have a plastic bubble like Greg does?

No bubble -- but if you do a really good job buffing it the night before, it's entertaining to watch the dust slide down the hood & windshield when you start the car.
