'78 5 speed, no sunroof, half tank of gas, spare, standard tools, extra layer of floormats, somewhat heavy wheels -- 3440 pounds. Weighed on a scale with 20lb resolution.

Heidi (may she Rest in Peace) assuming similar weight as Helmut would have had a nice weight/power ratio.

3400/403= 8.44 lbs/rwhp

Damn I miss driving that car...

This is my S4. With the SC on, about 10gals of gas, no spare, and as driven daily.
The weight is without driver. For accuracy once the car was off the scales i stood on them...sure enough 180 pounds. (that was 2 years ago )
Accurate enough.

3560/448= 7.9 lb/rwhp

This was my car in DE trim - no floor mats, spare, or tools, with me in it. I though I had a half a tank when I had this done, but that would make my car pretty light. I was probably about 180 at the time, so that would put the car at 3471 lbs.

Could've been running CS rims at the time and Louie's full dual exhaust which is probably lighter than the stock set up with the rear muffler.

I've got a dyno sheet that has my car putting down 272 hp, don't think she could do that today.

3471/272 = 12.76 lb/rwhp
