Well,
After 11 months, I finally managed to get the 79 fired up and back to life!
Still some snaufus with the fuel injection, but as I've driven it this week, it's gotten a little better.
The whole rear of the car was pretty much fixed up, replaced, or cleaned up.
Man, what a project!!
I've spent the last few days just getting gas through it, driving it, etc. Started to forget how it was to drive a 5 speed!!!
I was pretty happy about how the rear bumper cover came out.(Paint matches dead on!) Also, for Jim Mayzurk, Yes I did finally finish the rear wiper delete and use the plug technique instead of covering the assembly with vacuum line covers!!!
Posting pics to prove to some of the local club that yes, I do indeed own a 928!!!
I took pics with my beat up old HP camera, but you get the drift.
Hope to have more of the bugs worked out by 3rd Coast coming up in a few weeks!

Nice looking car, great colour combination and very clean. How did it look before?
If I ever get rich enough, I would make sure to build a drive in garage/living room so I could view a 928.

Chuck,
you have the nicest looking early 928 I have seen. Those brakes are killer
Paul Champagne is in your great state of Texas .He can make the interior look as good as the exterior.
