Looking for some Bay Area 928 owners
Howdy!
I'm looking to buy a 928 and would like to locate some San Francisco Bay Area 928 owners who would be willing to give me a ride in their 928 and discuss the wonderful shark world. I'll buy lunch!
Someone in the San Ramon Valley or San Jose North to Mountain View area would be perfect as I live in San Ramon and work in San Jose near First and 237.
Anybody interested in some 928 chat and lunch? I'm buying!
Thanks,
Steve

I live in Alamo and work in Milpitas. I'm within a few miles of your work location right now. There is a good crowd of owners in the area.

I'm in jail, but I can sneak out for a lunch. This food is garbage. But my 928 needs a steering rack and motor mounts. Can I have a veggie lunch?

You found the "holy Grail" of 928 ownership!! Also take a look at www.norcal928.org
A ride in Bills supercharged 928 is always exciting (think lots and lots of tire smoke)...one ride and you will want to buy one...just remember stock 928's are about 100whp less than Bills!

Yeah, I'm here, too! I'm near Fremont.
What type of 928 are you looking for, and do you have a budget? The more we know what your goals are, the better we can help you get there.

I'm still in the research phase of looking for a 928 trying to figure out which years/models would work best for me.
I emailed everyone through their profile information but if you don't receive it please send me a message to spederacing@gmail.com.
Thanks,
Steve

Hey Steve - in Dublin, but unfortunately, I just shattered my knee last weekend and will not be able to drive for a couple months.
Still I would love to help out with the Auto non-S4 POV, as we have 2 sides of the sprectrum with an '80 (non-S, sunroof delete, rr wiper delete, manual pass seat) and '86.5 (ABS, S4 brakes, loaded).
I'd be more than happy to discuss the differences between the 2 non-S4 cars, if that's what you're considering and an auto doesn't concern you.
Good luck !!

I saw a video of a woman who had no arms and she drives a car.
I got in a violent crash and had surgery on my knee and now I can't drive a stick shift. It took more than two months to heal and for the pain to stop, but the 928 is the best car for that, because I can stretch my leg out in the space where the clutch should be.

I liva and work in Sunnyvale. Work is at Crossman & Java(237 & Fair Oaks). I could probably do lunch Friday or next week.
If you want to email me, please use the address on my home page. If you email me through my profile, I won't see it till after I get home, and even then I may not see it for a day or two.

Let's meet Friday afternoon in Sunnyvale. Dave can clue you in on more stuff. I just dabble in these cars, and really prefer to surf.(the ocean). Hey, I know where the oil goes. But it would give you a more efficient perspective on old buggers. Just tell me when so I can arrange to bail out (of my office). And I will bring a couple of bunches of lettuce to eat. (yes, that's not the only rabbit behavior in which I engage.......oh alright, would like to engage.)
