If you remove the spaces from the part numbers you can use the "ATP" in PET to find where it's used, and you can (usually) click through to where the part itself is highlighted in the list -- click on it and it will highlight the part in the drawing. Anyone with a little time on their hands could do this.

I believe that is a short list of JUST what we show in our data base as NLA ....far more parts are no longer being made.

There is NO way to KNOW what Porsche will decide is no longer going to be profitable to reorder. They look at sales history look at their minimum order size. Look at the new cost and then decide make it or not. Sometimes the company which made the original part goes out of business or the mold ,jig,fixture wears out .....The S front spoiler was not available for a couple years story was tha company was out of business Porsche found a new source but at a higher price. We only KNOW when a part is NLA when the well is dry...Porsche is no longer REQUIRED to make ANY 928 parts USA law is only for 10 years as I recall.

So when a part becomes NLA, can anyone else start producing them or do they need a license to do so? (I am ignoring any cost/price considerations)

CRAP, i needed one of those CAT covers, I thought they were available i priced one a few months ago. HAd i known i would have gone higher on this one then i did.
