Yes, lots of fade on the upper surfaces. But the car spent its whole life in Reno and Bend, OR, so it's utterly corrosion-free underneath. Cleaning up nicely:

Hockey hall-of-famer Mike Bossy of the New York Islanders, standing next to his Shark on Long Island in spring 1987. If you have to commute six hours to work from Québec to NYC a few times a year, not a bad way to travel. Like the 928 print ad said: “In Germany, it doesn’t compete with cars. It competes with airplanes.”

Not yet, that pic is from the first pass pressure wash, will save the dry ice for later.
