[QUOTE=Adamant1971;19533016]Back from dry ice.[/QUOTE

The dry ice work looks fantastic. Looking at the insulation on the firewall, it looks completely black, as in there is no silver paint left. Was is like that before the dry ice or did the dry ice take off the silver paint (which was probably fading away anyway).

Not sure why it looks dark in that photo. Silver tape is still in place and was covered during dry ice. I will be cleaning that by hand with a very soft sponge. Need to be careful as this stuff is not very durable.

I have to say that's pretty funny since it mirrors my experience of 22+ years of S4 ownership - there are not too many people who like the looks of a 928, and their reaction is the same as when looking at a Gen 1 Panorama.

It is always for the same reason, the 2nd half of the car behind the driver/passenger side windows. A picture is worth a 1000 words, and surely applies here.

Porsche penned this chunky rear:

And should've considered something along the lines which Mercedes did with the AMG's quarter panels and rear hatch:

Despite the 928's polarizing looks, it is an indisputably great driving machine, and why I currently own 3.

What are the chances of you, or anyone else finding such a relevant plate? I imagine you'd have had a hard time not pulling the trigger at $100.

An uber-rare Japanese made 928
