Default Two sharks

My 85 and newly purchased in April, 1987 S4. together for the first time. Both have a few issues that still need to be addressed but they drive very well.

Hating myself for not driving it enough this year. Been too busy getting my son ready for club racing and driving my other cars. Just patiently waiting to be put back into the driving rotation.

I plan to clean out the garage and install new lighting and fix the flooring this fall. Just need to find the time. My RSR twin turbo (front bumper on floor) build is finally ready for dyno tuning after 6 years. I just sold my Cayman S so I made space but will soon be taken when the RSR comes home. I need to build another garage.

our first rally wasn't a succes ( but fun ! ) , due bogs under acceleration ..... now MUCH better with 3th progession hole drilled in the IDA48 carbs and bigger idle jets ! ( didn't daire to do it just before the rally )
I masked most of that bog with rich AF but soon got fouled plugs...

Needs also a transaxle cooler , once hot difficult 1sth and second gear ...

we know what to do for the next rally at September 28 ...

@belgiumbarry I can hear this picture! Any movies made of this rally that features this monster? Any rally’s planned? I would drive to Belgium to see it in action ?

@wopfe so far not seen vids of us on media .... perhaps later on. We drive VHRS65 ( historic regularity ) after the modern rally cars.
Yes, next rally is the East Belgian Rally in Saint Vith on Saturday 28 September ....

Just drove to Biesheuvel in Nieuwendijk this morning to get all stuff for the transaxle cooler & pump.
Also smaller main jets to aim A/F 12.5 at WOT ( now still to rich ) , off idle seems ok with those 3 progression holes .
Another problem is my tripmeter ( Terratrip 303 V4 ) , didn't work correct during the rally but seems OK in my daily.... perhaps electronic interference with my tach or ( VDO electronic ) odometer who uses the oem sensor ... ? must try mounting it at another place and test .

Saw this up close at the C&C in the Hampton's this weekend. The Bridge was great but so far my 928 was the only one I ever saw there. Very interesting build. I like that they incorporate an integrated roll cage that is hidden behind padding. Unlike most of the restomod EV conversions i see other models being used for I liked this. Also they can probably find enough donor cars that they won't decimate the few cars remaining like the 964's. The only issue I had was there was some very bad drip marks on teh drivers side behind the door that they looked like they tried to buff out but clearly showed.
