I remember it well too. I didn't actually make it in time for the run but did show up to hang out for a while after. On the way home, not even out of Hastings yet, she developed a squeal when depressing the clutch and shifting without it is not possible in that car. I adjusted my route to back roads to minimize stopping and shifting on the way home. It was a nerve-racking 70 mile ride home but I made it. Pulling into the garage I heard it throwing pressure plate fingers and found a couple on the floor. I have most of the parts to fix it, including a spare transmission, but haven't done anything with it yet.

 

Come on brother, it's not going to fix itself. LOL!! Just got my 21200 cams installed and valve covers back on. I would really Really like to borrow that setup on the floor there for a weekend. I need to figure my adapter plate for the Boxster transaxle conversion. I don't know if the stock double disc setup will fit inside the bellhousing of the Boxster setup. Maybe I could bribe you into taking some measurements for me.

 

 

 

 

Context was taking Snow White GTS and the 1950 Chevrolet pick up to the local car show the other evening. Abut 5,000 people showed up and over 200 cars!
Tons of interest in the GTS and a few younger people wanted to see the headlights ops up.
