Spent the day yesterday at the Big Loo Porsche Fest in Saint-Sauveur.
It was a first for me there.
About five 928 and maybe 250 Porsche total.
A lot of fun with other 928 owners (Andy, Don, Christian...) and other enthusiast Porsche owners too!
Thanks for the photos Andy!

Re-powering CE board mini-project complete. Differences; much smoother running, more power, faster windows/sunroof, dash illumination much better at night, electric hatch release motor faster working, Starter spins faster too...not sure what thats about. The 3 wires coming from jump post disconnected at jump post...no more inconsistent, unfused current coming from the starter. Much more even tempered volts gauge.
One of the best upgrades I've done and strongly recommend esp. for the bang you get for the buck and how easy it is....I got the OFC tinned 4ga copper 20 feet for about $25 on Amazon, that was the most expensive piece. Apart from having to buy the fuse holder twice because the first one wouldn't fit under the cover I got it done in about a day and some change...taking plenty of breaks cause otherwise the beer would have been getting warm.
I did not remove the rear quarter panel, was plenty easy to tuck it underneath...no way am I pulling that rear speaker assembly apart after what I had to do to get the Polk's in. In the passenger floorboard the cable is fully jacketed with the loom. 20 feet of wire was pretty much the perfect length. The only additional attention I'm thinking to pay to the installation is to replace the lug going on the CE panel with a right-angle one...the current one pushes a little against the firewall but not excessively.
The battery cover will not fully close, however its fairly close and the lid is flexible. Spare is going back in. .the wire is in the loom where it exits the well. It's coming out where foam is on both the well and lid edge. Decided since the battery lid isn't something that can be easily replaced not to modify.

@Porsche304 : I'd never seen those wheels. They're like Porsche versions of the BMW M Parallels. I dig them!
