So...did you finally set the timing at the "correct" position as specified by the WSM, or was there some advance/retard dialed in?

Hi Brian,

I was hesitant to play with advance/retard on the CAMS due to my power loss problem, so we dialed in both sides to Zero. I'm very curious what the difference in power would be either advanced or retard?

Hey Guys,

I figured it was better to revive an old thread rather than start new.

I noticed during a recent compression test that the drivers side is 12-15 PSI below the passenger side. I have the Porken timing tool and believe that I should advance the drivers side.
Does anyone have a recommendation on the CAM degrees I should advance . I was thinking about starting at 2 degrees and going from there.

Thanks,

Ken
