FINISHED 928 TurboSport kits! S3 & S4: Pictures!
Here's a few snips from the kit: I had very little time to clean anything, so there are some label sticky-stuff on some of the pipes, but you can gather what it's like now.
enjoy!

Well, you'd think so huh Andrew?? With the turbo, people know you're up to something, so most "worshipers" are are their hands & knees looking to see what I did.
Abby: that's not your exact turbo, well, I guess it could be: but your compressor housing is ceramic-coated silver, the one pictured isjust polished.

So I guess I haven't been following this close enough. - I'm totally lost.
I thought you were mounting the turbo at the back of the engine, but I guess not.
But it's not a rear turbo either, right?
So where is the turbo located? Somewhere near the tranny?
How much ground clearance is there? Any shots of the underside with one installed?

This is a mid-mount (also called low-mount) kit. Turbocharger is mounted in front of the transaxle, but air is gathered behind it: this allows ALL the space you need, a 3.5" air inlet tube, a front-mounted intercooler, less heat in the engine bay, & plenty of ground clearance + plenty of room for a catalytic converter (test pipe shown still wrapped up in the photos), easy working space, etc: my car is lowered 2", and I didn't drag the kit once in 7k miles of testing, & I have major speed bumps to go over. I've ground the swaybar & alternator, but not the turbo or exhaust or anything.
Total plumbing to the turbo is only about 24" more than a normal 944 turbo, but we have 2x the displacement & conservatively sized turbocharger, so spool is fantastic.

Turbocharger pictured is a T67: 4" inlet. The T61 has a 3" inlet, though I think either/or can get either/or cover: I need to ask about that. Turbine size is exactly the same for either turbo.

Full boost is under 3k. You're sideways well before 4k. Polished is standard.
That's the IC off my car: 7k of testing & so/so welds, here it is before it got boogered up:

v-band's are fanstastic: yes, the only bolts are to bolt the Y-pipe to your manifolds & to bolt the turbo to the exhaust: otherwise, all v-banded.
Did everyone notice the S vs S4 exhaust setups?? Both are pictured!
