Dave needs an '86 head with cams, I have a pair that I do not want to break up. Does anyone need one '86 head, so I can help Dave out?

$250 per head (only if I get buyers for both heads and cams).
$200 for one pair of cams (only if I get buyers for both heads and cams).
’86 transmission – auto - was slipping - $200 or offer
’86 steering rack core – was leaking - $100 or offer
’86 torque tube core – needs rebuilding - $200 or offer
’86 power steering pump – no known issue - $50
’86 alternator – no known issues - $50

Glen @ Austin VeeDub (Austin texas) has a pair of '86 heads, VERY low miles, 1-2 damaged exhaust valves per head, but heads complete & assembled, can probably get both for $300-350. Call him.

Mark.

Stan:

I'd like the passenger side head and probably the cams, but not unless someone else is going to take the driver's side head/cams (don't want to double my repair bill).

Let me know how this process goes big dave. I have my 200k mile 86 motor semi-apart right now, and I am debating whether to pull it. I would want the cams though - since thats the basis for another engine. Very good condition on the heads.

keep in mind the heads are the same part number, so there isn't a driver or passenger side head.

Yes, that's true. The cams and chain tensioners are the primary difference. I assume I need cams, but not the tensioner.
