Alright then. We've got enough turbo kits and superchargers. Now we need someone to tackle installing Quattro. Then we wouldn't be delayed like this!

Maybe I shoud bring down my home made SD'ed '85 and give you a run for your money! My brother was sent, by he's company, to MI for 2 months. He's staying somewehere around Rochester Hill, if needed I can stay with him for the weekend.

Went out today and got a pretty nice run in. This was on the freeway. I was able to pull over and wait until there was a nice break in traffic and then let her rip! Had to let off a little as I approached traffic. But I got my best 0-60. Less than 4.4 sec.
Actually I ended up passing a new GTO with 2 kids in it. They wanted to race so we slowed down to about 30, and then I let them see my *** up to about 110! Fun! Lots o fun!
THen I woke up from my dream. But somehow the run was still in the G-tech

Maybe this was asked already - what do you have the pitch and rollout set to?
I should be receiving the results from a pair of local modified ZO6 Corvette's using a G-Tech. Want to keep things apples/apples.

One of the big issues to getting faster times is in the shifts. I had a 91S4 Auto and a 91GT five speed. Even thought the GT out G's the S4, the auto was smoother and actually gives a small boost in G's when it shifts as opposed to the 5 speed where acceleration drops to slightly negative during the shift.
Tony pointed out the smoothness of the auto curves. If you look at the G charts for Andrew back on post #44 you can see that his shifts are in the 0.5 to 1.0 seconds range. By the time you get to fourth gear that's 1.5-3.0 seconds of the car not accelerating on its way to the 1/4 mile! A significant fraction of the 12.6 second quarter mile time.
If you can make your shifts twice as fast, you'll knock 0.3-0.6 seconds off your quarter mile, and maybe 0.2-04 off your 0-60 time.
Of coarse my shifts on my GT are not much different than Andrews, but I practice at being quicker.
