Default Home from my first SITM

Well folks,
I just returned from my first SITM and I can assure you, it won't be my last. It probably will for my SO but I will be back with one of my son's. I will post some pictures but before I do, I would like to thank DR and all the folks at 928 Specialist for a great weekend. I didn't get to do any wrenching because I stood out in the rain on Friday night until 2am and came down with a bug. Still went out Saturday and had a great time. I don't know about the rest of you guys but I got a terrible sunburn. Now, everything was great but my favorite part was the drive to the restaurant on Saturday. It started out on the parkway and finished on the most fun road I have ever driven (I80). DR, man, I owe you for this one. I had more fun on that road than any I have ever driven and that includes Fancy Gap. My SO, on the other hand got a little car sick and told me later that a lot of the other passengers did the same. Well on with the Pics

Me too! Face, back of my neck and legs! I heard the UV index was going to be high on Saturday and didn't even think to bring sun block... Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet. Next time.

Default Guess it's my turn for some pics and banter

Wow, a GREAT TURNOUT! over 100 SHARKS!!!
weather on Fri was less than ideal but Sat was sunny (though windy) and conditions were perfect for a GTG and drive

928 Specialists again pulled off a great event
it was great to see everyone and finally get the chance to meet a lot of the new folks
I worked on the S4 up until the moment I left on Fri, she ran awesome all weekend and I think I got the shifting thru the twisties down now, no brake issues
here's a few pics
1-2 ... front of the BW in Banner Elk on Sat am, conspicuously absent of beer bottles and trash
3 Tarek's car,,, gonna need a touch of bondo and some paint

I don't know the details, but I've heard it involved a tree and an attempt to elude someone with lights and a badge.
Don't tell me someone is that stupid! Wrecked a convertible at that. I hope this is a joke on how that car got wrecked.

At any rate, looks like a great turnout! Wish we were there. Congratualtions to Dave and Jeannie for hosting an awesome event. Looks to be that place to be in the US if you own a 928 huh?

Tony, Hey it's Joe (Flott Leben). Best one yet for you, eh? We'll have to put you to work installing superchargers every year from now on!! Thanks for taking the lead on the breakdown and install. It was a great learning experience. Have a safe flight.
