Hi I would suspect that you have a worn trans mount or motor mount or both might not be a bad idea to replace all of the mounts and make sure to check the drive shaft for trueness before installing the new bell housing, also make sure the bolts that hold both ends of the torque tube are tight, I hope you get it fixed without too many surprises, Stan

Hi Bill your right I thought it might be the bellhousing but after looking a lil bit more it could also be the transmission , either way there is probably a soft/broken mount on either the engine or trans

and if it is the trans then there might also be a worn /soft suspension link possibly letting one of the halfshafts move to far towards the transmission, make sure to spin the driveshaft see if it got bent

i will post some more photo's. the photo's are taken from the engine compartment closer to the driver side and firewall. the clutch lever has a plastic bushing an is connected to that area of the bell housing.. sort of like a ball and socket.
thanks

Ahh the clutch arm pivot bolt support cracked, well you will be looking at replacing the bellhousing, there may be other worn parts on the clutch release arm maybe a worn TOB to clutch arm or the guide tube has to much play or has come loose open up the bottom clutch cover and take more pictures

the clutch assembly was just taken out and inspected -- found to be fine ! the only thing that was replaced was that little plastic bushing attached to the clutch lever..

Could just be a defective casting.

Even out of focus, that looks bad. What is it? A stripped bellhousing bolt?

Apparently that did not belong in there. As for how it may gotten there hopefully you know. If it was a clutch spring you wouldn't feel as bad.

It does look like you had a great time at the track though. Hope you will be back up and running soon.
