Now that the TB-Wp service is done, it is time to focus on spark plugs and wires and then installing my 02 sensor. Is there a standard set of wires that work best? I know they are pricey!!

After buying the inexpensive Beru wires and installing them, next time I would go with the hugely expensive but complete Beru set. It was a pain to transfer all the mounting clips with the inexpensive set and one of my plug ends was bad. Also, I wasn't able to find the right wire insulation, so I ended up with bare wires while the original and expensive set is insulated in critical heat and wear areas. So, there are compromises with the cheap set.

I have the new Beru wire heat shielding in-stock as well, as they don't offer OEM insulation separately: it was just a rubber sleeve. The 1200 degree radiant sheathing is $40 per set & cut to length so that the hidden parts of your wires over the cylinder heads are shielded, kinda similar to stock. Yes, there is a possibility of having a bad connector, but I list the test-techniques in my literature (if anyone cares)
Bill did you buy my wires or others? I"ve not heard back from a single customer who said they found a bad connector (yet).

Mark:
No, the connector that was bad was the spark plug end, not included with the inexpensive wire set. So, your record is still 100%. Glad you have wire insulation and even better than original. I finally did find some heat resistant stuff at McMaster that fit well.

I don't want to be swapping ends and stuff. If somethintg can go wrong, it will on my project. I am looking for a set I can simply plug on one at a time after removing the old one. I see 928 Intl. offers a set for 300.00 biggies (ouch!!) What do a set Beru wires run with the insulating sleeve?
