Michael,
-The motormounts are flat so the driver's side header was sitting on the heatshield which was sitting on the steering rack. Jack is to raise the engine enough to move the driver's side header out of the way of the clutch. Dead motormounts are on the to-do list so that jack will be a regular site, unless somebody wants to loan me an engine crane for a couple weeks.
-The jack just looks funny and unstable because the jackstands are about 20" up in the air. It is a 5-ton or so sissor jack that weighs probably 25lbs. It's a sturdy old bastard that I think came from my greatgrandfather when my father was building an electric Alfa in engineering school.
-The alt cooling hose is on my to-unPO list.
-There are at least two hammers in those pics... ball joints are a bitch.
-The pictures are carefully cropped.

She is looking over your shoulder as you type, Right?

Mine loves the 928s, in fact, she has escaped a ticket at 150mph, while driving our first 928.
Long story, but she was looking at the tach reading 6K rpm and had fixated on 60MPH, When the New Mexico Trooper finally caught up and pulled me over (We had switched drivers) He wanted to write a ticket, but he was laughing too hard at the story. I just laughed with him, as I didn't want my shark impounded.
Oh, and her taken to jail in handcuffs.

Guys

It's simple just buy your OH a 928 as well. Then all you'll get is "aren't you working on my shark?" Preferably buy one the same or similar you can always say "but those are the new xxxxx for your shark dear" when the credit card bill arrives. Kinda difficult if the invoice says "32V xxx" when you have an S4,GT,GTS and she or he has an S.

if i get rid of my cars its because i want to and not because im told to or feel i 'should do', to me they are important, and that matters. anyone who is on the same page with me can understand this like the feeling i have towards snowboarding or music, anything that arouses passion! imagine someone saying you cant listen to your favourite music anymore cause you seem to like it more than them?! thats absurd... sounds more like typical powertripping female manipulative bs

maybe this is a turn for the better anyhow, definitely the cars have nothing to do with the relationship and she makes that clear, they mean nothing to her - she dosent mind if they are gone. she would be just as happy/unhappy regardless, but would you?

Oddly,
My wife and kids have known that I am moving back to Pennsylvania when I retire in about 6 years.
The sHARk is going with me, everyone else has been invited to join me. Welcome to come actually.
But, I'm going with or without them. Not so much an ultimatum as I have had my fill of Texas and while you can never truly go home, I miss the seasons of PA.
On a more comparative note; my father an attorney who did extremely well in the field of Law had a fixation on Kentucky Rifles/Pennsylvania long guns. A fanatic, really. He would scour the eastern states in search of 200 year old (plus) rifles particularly estate sales for bargains. Had a study full of historical research and bio's of those long gone gunsmiths with examples of their work.
Also had a comprehensive metal/wood working shop that covered have of the mansions' basement.
MomCats often pointed out to him that he would do better to fondle and rub something other than
the Burled, Birdseye, Tiger maplewood stocks of the 35 or so old restored rifles hanging on his den walls. MomCats, aka Pattycakes was a trophy wife well into her early 70's and is still quite a looker at 84.
Sometimes ..., the ladies do put up with a lot of our crap. Indeed, when I was a cruiser weight
member of some standing at several Army Post wrecking crews around the world over a 14 year period, my wife was stressed out that the primary function of wrecking crews was to dis-assemble various establishments and patrons including police bars that habitually, abused soldiers fiancially/physically/legally(sic) for no reason other than abusive financial gain and local law enforcement powerchecks. Sharon, was horrified at the sheer level of damage and mayhem we projected and figured, at the least. we'd end up in long term confinement, shot-up, or killed.
I suppose my after-dark activities at the time was one of the reasons we didn't start a family for 10 years and that I'm lucky to still have her company . Still, I'm moving to Pennsylvania with the sHARk and it will be Sharon's decision to join me or stay.

Too true!! This was almost play by play with my wife and I. She was thoroughly bent when I brought the last shark home in Oct. Said she was ready to take the kids and leave! I pointed at the door and asked what was holding her back!

It really chaps my *** when she questions what I spend my money on, especailly when we decided that I would take a percentage of each of my checks, to do with whatever I want. So I did, and bought another shark! Live with it or leave.

She was mollified a month and a half later when she got her 10 year anniversary three stone diamond ring. That cost more than my last shark!!

When I met my wife she had a 67 Chevelle Malibu, blue on blue. She still talks about that car now and then.
One just like it for her is the next project. Something I'm really looking forward to.

My wifey does not exactly LOVE the shark. But she loves me enough to indulge me having the shark.

She is wise enough to understand that there are a lot worse things a man might spend his time on ...or with.

My wife took the shark out for a spin when I fist brought it home. She jumped in before I even got out of it! It is cool to actually see it(and hear it!) accerate down the street. Don't get that too much from the cocpit! lol She loves to take it out when ever she can. Great escape..
