Wonder if they just hacked off the front half of the door window frame and attached
it to the A-pillar or if the conversion included true strengthening of the A-pillar and
front windshield frame.
Reinforced windshield frame good for any roll-over incidents. Not that anyone should roll their 928's.

Wonder what one can actually store in the rear compartment under the trunk lid.

Assuming it is the same as mine, I dont think there is any reinforcement of the windshield posts, pretty much just the door window frames tacked on, although I would have to cut into it to know for sure. I'm not worried about it as I think my chances of rolling vanisingly small. The trunk is good for storing wax rags, and a cover, but you cannot get a spare tire or much in the way of groceries in there.
