automatic. I don't mind the fact that the car will not have 300+ HP, nor 32 valves. Again, this is a daily driver and I still have access to a 928 S4. Nevertheless, I would definitely go for a '85-'86 car. I really like the old body style since that was the style I was raised around when I was a child.

BLAH! No good 85-86 cars in the trader within 300 miles of CA

Snipe has a fast car but hard to tell. he took me down low....but from a 40 rolling start my 3speed euro would walk snipe. but 0-100 it would take me some time to catch the little bugger. But soon i will have a turbo 79 Efi and 8.5:1 compression is one nice turbo combo. back on topic get an 84 euro auto.

I seem to recall being 1-1 against your gassed 83 Euro in rolling starts.

Dunno, it was already a freak when i bought it.
Since i got it i cut off a bunch of weight(about 350lbs worth) and added probably 40hp(full race exhaust, RRFPR, yanked A/C, yanked clutch fan, yanked airpump, etc).

When we did the rolling start runs, on the first run my A/T decided to shift to second right before we nailed it, so i got my butt handed to me by about 2.5 lengths on the first rolling start run. On the second run i kept her in first and took lance by about 1.5 lengths in a 10-15ish MPH rolling start.

The other car racing there that day was Heather in her stock 83US A/T with full offroad exhaust(same as mine basically).

Lance and I took turns abusing her Shark terribly.

He beat her by about 9 lengths, and i took her by about 12(all standing start).

Later on that day we got on US1 north and lance slowly walked my US 928S once we hit 100mph. Lance is a fearless nut, btw.
