Ken, are those the fronts or rears off the 996TT that you have out back? Do you have a write-up on how you did it (any custom work)? That would be a worthwhile mod for just about everyone!
First of all an error on my part I meant 993TT.

Just search 993 TT Rear Brakes for the thread. Jim M. did it first I believe and Roger helped me out with most of the parts.

It was worth it gaining the mechanical grip. Did you notice the "Big Reds" out back....those are 993 TT calipers and rotors on the rear

Hi Ken, thanks for the info, do the fronts rub on the inside when on full lock at the rear of the wheel or at the front of the wheel or a bit of both? If you find the offsets that would be great. The offsets you can get with the factory are 69 mm for the 9" and 94 mm for the 10" I suspect the 10"s will rub regardless of the offsets.

Mark, BTW is your 91 turbo stock?

Here are my stock speedlines on the GTS. She is sitting high because they were just placed on to see if I like them and I do. I am looking for a set of RH's with a bit more lip. Not to the extent of the custom job but the factory 61 offset can be adjusted to a 40 or 50 mm with proper spacers to make it look better.
That's it!
You can have painted centers -or not-chromed..shudder.

Shut this thread down to be never brought up again.

Based on Tirerack pages this will fit some Porsches. Its available in at least these sizes:
8x18 ET59
9x18 ET53
9.5x20 ET??
10.5x20 ET??

Too bad wider 18" is only 9" wide. Hopefully more sizes become available. First options are probably meant for Panamera winter setup.

Erkka,
Those would look great on a 928.
I'd consider those the closest one could get to a RUF looking wheel on a 928 without breaking the bank. The setup that Chuck Z ended up with shows how nice these "Sport Edition" wheels look on our cars. I believe that the front offsets are close enough as well.
How do you get to the wheel width & offset specs on the TR site without having to enter a make/model/year?
I'd probably sell my 18" RH RAL's if I could turn around and buy a set of Sport Edition Cup 4 or 5 with PS2's.

No idea. I got those sizes by selecting Panamera S IIRR. Some other dealers who sell Sport Edition wheels have sizes and offsets listed but Cup 5 is so new that they don't have any info listed yet.

Fact that Tirerack is having more Cup wheel styles made is very good sign. When new Panamera winter wheels are made they are pretty good match for 928. Now if they just make 10" rears and few more designs many of our wheel problems are solved. 8" ET59 is practically ideal size for front end. It allows widest possible tire without rubbing anywhere. Almost all 245's in correct diameter should fit without rubbing.

It also came with the following wheels (993???)

Default For me 928ntslow has the best wheels!

I have always really liked the look of the cup 1 wheels on my 88 S4. My only wish was that they were available in an 18 inch version! For me personally, that would of been the best looking wheel for the car. Until I came across pic posts from 928ntslow's stunning white GTS, those wheels really do add a lot to the overall look of the car! I have found a worthy replacement of my much loved cup 1's when the time comes!*
