BIG "Thank you" to Bill Swift and Brian Donaldson
Like the title says...I owe a big "THANK YOU" to both Bill Swift and Brian Donaldson.
They successfully uninstalled my Supermodel T/S supercharger and returned my shark back to original status.
Bill was even kind enough to provide me with accomodations at his house for the weekend while we did the project.
My car performed flawlessly during the 4 hour drive home.
The kit is being shipped to fellow Rennlister "Pizza", who will soon know the joys of twin screwed 928 performance .

Hey Derek!
Glad to hear all is well with your car. No matter how successfully a project like that goes, there is always a certain amount of uncertainty until the car has a few miles out on it. Happy to help out & hope to see you at SF '06 if not before.

All things considered I think it went pretty smoothly, esp. given some of the improvising that must be done when all the parts you end up needing aren't necessarily all the parts you thought to buy. It wasn't 100%, but it's enough to get him back on the road.
Bill did 90% of the work, I was mostly in charge of spilling fluids on his otherwise nicely finished garage floor.

Hey Kevin,
It was good meeting you, as well.
I actually had the opportunity to meet with several Rennlisters I hadn't met before...which was cool...Andy (The Stig)...Brendan...Eric (Hacker Pschorr) and his lovely new wife too. It was a mechanically AND socially productive weekend.
