Roll call: Who is still in for the Bay Area fun drive on March 5?
Hi everyone:
I'm craving for a nice 928 fun drive. I was thinking to Monterey or to the Wine country this coming or the following weekend -- providing the beautiful weather stays (for those outside the area - we've had 64 degrees and no cloud in the sky today, and it should last at least until Thursday).
So I wanted to see, if anyone would be interested in and available for a drive on the above dates...

This coming weekend looks OK. No cars booked for the lift. The following is likely to be a TB party. Maybe TB party Saturday, ride Sunday. Better if we had another week so I can alert the troops and we can plan this. Either locale is great, but we should try to find better routes than in the past that avoid the worst parts of the traffic.

Nicole I work at an intercollegite athletic facility and the baseball team is home both of the Saturdays you indicated however Sara and I will be free Sundays.Either destination sounds like fun and whatever is best for everyone else will probably work for us. Gerry & Sara

This Sat/Sun is the AT&T Golf tournament in Monterey/Pebble Beach.. A one day jaunt down here would be fun if you can take the busy roads and restaurants. Weekend after is also fun..
I am thinking I'll get my TB done on Sat. Eve., so Sunday for fun drive may be better for me.. If the TB is done, then I can bring the Shark...

Brian - Not sure if you picked up from the original TB thread; it's looking like Sat the 18th and I'm about 90% confirmed (should have schedules arranged and set by tomorrow/ Wed latest). Will repost once all set.

I voted for 2/19. My front wheels are at Kinesis for repair & widening and won't be back until that weekend. Then on Mon. 2/20 I have a track day at Laguna Seca. It works perfectly for me. . . *evil laugh* If any of you want to stick around an extra day, you can go for a ride and see what the Corkscrew is all about.

It seems this is too short of a notice to get a reasonable number of owners together.
How is your availablility on Sunday, February 26, or Sunday, March 5?
Would these days conflict with any major events I'm not aware of? I mean, events in the sense of a "superbowel", or a major event in the Monterey area.
